This is both a comedy item and a musical item.

Two chiefs, one French and the other Italian, hover around the food serving point of an event.

After the meal is served the chiefs appear at a convenient visual position and start a comedy routine.

The routine involves audience participation and is most definitely amusing - the audience is reeved up into pandemoniac activity.

A singing competition between France and Italy takes place with the audience deciding the winner of each song contest. The finale involves the audience singing several rousing chorus songs.

The whole is a marvelous start to an evening and anything that follows it goes down marvelously well because the audience is totally receptive to fun, music and activity.

You can order opera singers in various formats to perform popular operatic pieces in a theme format like, "restaurant waiting staff".

You can have two male singers say a baritone and a tenor and one female singer say a soprano who will dress up in the prevailing uniform of the waiting staff and burst into song at planned periods ending with a finale where they give up waiting staff clothes for glamorous evening dress.
